C Operator

Main duties consisted of running a 3-axis MasterCam 3000 cutting flat panel materials such as MDF, Plyboard and Solid Surface materials such as Durasein and Hi-Macs. A had little exposure to a 5-axis SCM Accord machining vacuum formed parts.

CNC Programmer/Operator

Running of Fanuc controlled systems such as Multiax-S and further control of SCM Ergon (Both dual-head, dual-bed 3-axis systems). Light exposure of a 5-axis Balestrini.
Main duties consisted of customising vacuum jigs and set-out for concept and bespoke operations, fine-tuning programs and making suitable edits to programs with AlphaCam for final operation.
Rebuilding and calibrating Ruida controlled CO2 laser machines for production.

Assistant Architectural Technician

Typical duties are as follows:
-Submitting Planning & Building Reg applications.
-Developing Planning layouts for large residential schemes.
-Producing Surfacing, Materials layouts & Traffic Management plans.
-Producing Master Deed plans.
-Amending & issuing working drawings when necessary.
-Registering plots with the NHBC to obtain warranties.
-Creating the Technical & H&S files.
-Arranging air tightness tests & requesting EPC’s with the relevant parties.
-General administrative duties.

Most of the theme throughout the course was geared towards musical spaces and human interaction. I usually applied psychological concepts to denote these spaces. One project I expressed the duality of listening and speaking as a spatial representation of a bicameral mind. Another was focused on an autistic centre for learning.
A piece of my work was selected for the final year exhibition show.
